Hi Rock Church Plaistow Family!

Today our youth group had a midweek winter vacation blast at Laser Kraze  in North Andover, MA enjoying amazing fun, fellowship & food. They then headed to the Rock for a special combined youth group event of pizza, games and laughs. Do you know any middle/high schoolers that could also be blessed by these amazing people, experiences and teachings? Invite them to join Heidi & her crew in Sandown, NH on Wednesday evenings and Sheri & her posse in Plaistow, NH on Sunday nights. Click http://www.rock-church.org/ministries/#youth-ministry for more info.

Speaking about Sunday nights in Plaistow, we also have a service at 6 PM where Pastor Steve and other leaders take us deeper into our current sermon series topic. Right now we are in the middle of the Book of James where we are exploring the real world and raw approach James, the brother of Jesus, has for each one of us and our faith. This is a great whole family alternative to Sunday Morning if you can't make it due to other obligations.  We want you to be able to always stay connected and have your family be blessed.

Also, on Sunday mornings while the children are at Sunday school, adults are gathering together in the "Back Room" in Plaistow at 9:45 am for an awesome life group exploring and discussing the Book of James. Doug Little is leading this study and can be reached at littlekallebb@yahoo.com if you have questions.

There are some local mission opportunities to bless the community. Sheryl Kelly posted about the little free library box at the Pollard school.  This is a great opportunity to provide good reading materials to our area families. The other day at Market Basket Christina Cruz, our Plaistow Recreation Director, asked me to share with our church their needs of donations for their summer recreation program. Their  list includes: Glass vases (clear), t-shirts, CD’s, Plastic market basket bags, Duct tape, Embellishments & Pillow cases. Christina can be contacted at ccruz@plaistow.com or call 382-5200 ext 204.

Lastly, some updates from our Texas mission team as they work to construct a 60 x 60 building at a Christian camp in Texas this week.  Please keep them in your prayers for good weather, great connection and amazing work (spiritually and physically) to be completed. An easy prayer that helps me lift up our mission team is "God bless y'all!" when I am praying for the many needs of other in and outside our Church Family.

I am looking forward to hearing the stories & testimonies from all the opportunities we have listed here and beyond.  Every day is a blessing and can be used to be blessed or bless others in all of our relationships and encounters. Please share here, on facebook or in person with others of what God is doing in and through you!
