We talk frequently about how all of us are gifted to serve, in fact that is our third core conviction here at Rock Church. But EVERYONE is called to be inviting and welcoming to everyone we meet. In fact, that leads right up to our first core conviction as well, that "EVERYBODY NEEDS JESUS." So if we believe that with all our heart then let's invite everyone we know through social media, handing out the invitation cards at the Welcome Desk or by personal invitation to extend our desire for all to know the mighty and unconditional love of God. Equally as important, when we do have visitors come to join us, let us be sure to welcome them with as family because some will be exactly that shortly. Having this Kingdom mindset allows us to see others with the love of Christ and breaks down that fear of meeting new people, saying hello and smiling. We are Christ’s ambassadors and have the opportunity to make an awesome first impression that just may change someone’s eternity! Trust in the Holy Spirit, allow Him to guide your heart and mind and be empowered with the gifts God has given you to be the best “inviter” and “welcomer” that you can be. I don’t know if those are actually words, but they are now so let’s live them!
